Online therapy · Toronto

Toronto therapy that does not ask you to commute to a downtown office.

Virtual psychotherapy for adults and couples across Toronto. CRPO-registered, trauma-informed, paced for the kind of week Toronto actually puts on people.

About online therapy in Toronto.

Toronto is loud. The density, the rents, the TTC at rush hour, the constant comparison, the loneliness of having a hundred restaurants within walking distance and no one to text. The version of yourself who keeps it all moving is not always the version who knows what to do when it stops moving.

Online therapy gives you the 50 minutes back. No subway ride to a Bay Street office. No parking math. You log in from your apartment in Leslieville or your shared office in Liberty Village or a quiet bench in High Park, and the work happens where you actually live your life.

What we work with

Areas Toronto clients come in for.

Why Toronto

A small practice in a big city.

Both clinicians at Anchor & Bloom are Ontario-registered. We understand the Toronto reality: ten-year wait lists at CAMH for non-emergency outpatient work, the OHIP gap that leaves private psychotherapy uncovered for most adults, the loneliness of a city where you can live for a decade and still not have a regular table at any restaurant.

Two clinicians, not a rotating roster of associates. Same therapist every week. Slow, attentive, real.

Crisis support

If you need help right now.

Anchor & Bloom is not a crisis service. If you are in crisis in Toronto, the following are available:

  • Talk Suicide Canada: 1-833-456-4566 (24/7), text 45645 (4 pm to midnight ET)
  • Suicide Crisis Helpline: call or text 988
  • Distress Centres of Greater Toronto: 416-408-4357 (24/7)
  • Gerstein Crisis Centre: 416-929-5200 (24/7 mobile crisis)
  • Toronto Rape Crisis Centre / Multicultural Women Against Rape: 416-597-8808
  • Any Toronto hospital ER. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.

Common questions about online therapy in Toronto.

Do you have an office in Toronto?

No. Anchor & Bloom is online-only. Both clinicians are CRPO-registered to practice across Ontario and work with clients in every Toronto neighbourhood: downtown, Leslieville, Roncesvalles, the Annex, Riverside, the Beaches, Liberty Village, Scarborough, North York, and Etobicoke.

How is online therapy different from in-person therapy in Toronto?

The depth of the work is the same. The format is what changes. You meet your therapist over secure video, from your home, your office, or a quiet park bench. No commute. No St. George subway delay. No parking near College and Bay.

I live in Toronto but work weird hours. Can we make a schedule work?

Yes. Both clinicians have weekday evening availability through 7 PM. Some early-morning slots are available. Bring your calendar to the consultation and we will find a recurring time that holds.

I am between therapists. Is it okay to do a consultation while still seeing someone else?

Yes. The 15-minute consultation is a fit conversation. It does not commit you to anything. Many people consult with two or three clinicians before choosing one. We will not pressure you.

How much do sessions cost for Toronto clients?

Individual sessions are $180 (50 minutes). Couples sessions are $200 (50 minutes) or $285 (85 minutes). Most extended health plans through Toronto employers cover RP services. Psychotherapy is HST-exempt in Canada as of June 2024.
