Privacy & Terms
Anchor & Bloom is committed to protecting client privacy and keeping health information secure. This page covers how we protect clinical information and how this website handles data.
This service is not suitable for crisis situations and this website is not monitored for crisis support. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
Appointment details, intake forms, and payment information are handled through secure clinical systems.
Appointments require 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged the full session fee.
Insurance receipts and payment workflows are handled through Jane. Direct billing is available only when the clinician, insurer, and Jane workflow support it. Psychotherapy services are HST-exempt.
Google Analytics and Google Ads receive limited, cookieless measurements by default so we can understand website and advertising performance. These measurements can include the page visited, a generic action such as clicking a booking link, device and browser information, referral source, consent state, and approximate location derived from an IP address. Google does not read or write analytics or advertising cookies while storage consent is denied. Microsoft Advertising stays off unless you allow optional tools. If allowed, Google and Microsoft may set measurement cookies. We do not send form messages, clinical details, crisis-routing details, or health-condition details to advertising platforms.
If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email, and message so we can respond, delivered through our email provider. We may send a limited operational alert through Telegram when a message matches our automated crisis screen or email delivery is unavailable. The alert includes the form category, whether the crisis screen matched, the time, the delivery reason, and a random reference. It does not include your name, contact details, message, service selection, or form source. Please don't include clinical or sensitive health details in the form. You'll share those securely as a client through Jane.
If you subscribe through our public website form and confirm your subscription, we may use your first name and email address to send occasional practice information, general resources, and details about consultations, fees, and insurance. Mailchimp may process this information in the United States. Jane remains separate from this email list, and we do not transfer client or appointment records to Mailchimp. You can unsubscribe through any marketing email without affecting your access to care.
We rely on trusted providers to run this site and related communications: Google, Microsoft, Mailchimp, our operational email delivery provider, Telegram for limited operational contact alerts, and our website host. Booking, intake, and clinical records are handled separately through Jane and protected under Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA); see Jane's privacy policy for details. Some providers process data outside Canada, including in the United States.
You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time. Withdrawing consent removes measurement cookies that this site can access and reloads the page with cookieless Google measurement. Microsoft remains off. You can also request access to or correction of personal information we hold by emailing info@anchorbloom.co.
