Anchor & Bloom is committed to protecting client privacy and keeping health information secure. This page covers how we protect clinical information and how this website handles data.
Personal health information
Appointment details, intake forms, and payment information are handled through secure clinical systems.
Cancellation policy
Appointments require 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged the full session fee.
Insurance and payment
Insurance receipts and payment workflows are handled through Jane. Direct billing is available only when the clinician, insurer, and Jane workflow support it. Psychotherapy services are HST-exempt.
Website analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, and Microsoft Advertising to understand how this website is used and to measure advertising. These tools may set cookies and collect usage data such as pages visited, device type, referral source, and approximate city-level location. We do not send form messages, clinical details, crisis-routing details, or health-condition details to advertising platforms. You can limit or block these cookies through your browser settings and the privacy controls offered by each platform.
When you contact us
If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email, and message so we can respond, delivered through our email provider. Please don't include clinical or sensitive health details in the form. You'll share those securely as a client through Jane.
Service providers and where data is processed
We rely on trusted providers to run this site: Google, Meta, Microsoft, our email delivery provider, and our website host. Booking, intake, and clinical records are handled separately through Jane and protected under Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA); see Jane's privacy policy for details. Some providers process data outside Canada, including in the United States.
Your choices and access
You can withdraw consent to analytics cookies at any time through your browser, and you can request access to or correction of personal information we hold by emailing info@anchorbloom.co.
