For parents and caregivers

You can begin with the part that feels hardest right now.

Emotions feel bigger

Your child may be having a harder time settling, naming what they feel, or getting through moments that used to feel more manageable.

Something has shifted

Behaviour, school, routines, or family relationships may have changed. You can start by describing what you are seeing, without deciding what it means first.

You have practical questions

It is reasonable to ask about age, fit, family involvement, current service options, and what to book before choosing an appointment. Our guide toquestions worth asking before child therapycan help you prepare.

How Natalie works

The concern matters. It is not the whole child.

Natalie is warm and collaborative in session. Her work is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from behavioural, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based approaches. Sessions are paced around the child, young person, or family in front of her.

She works with emotional regulation, behavioural concerns, school-related stress, difficult life experiences, grief, family conflict, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and stress. Which approach she draws from depends on the person and what fits their needs.

Before you book

Questions are part of finding the right fit.

Does Natalie see children younger than 5?

Will a parent or caregiver be involved?

That can depend on the child's age, needs, and the service being considered. Ask the practice how family involvement works before choosing an appointment.

Does Natalie provide assessment or diagnosis?
