About online therapy in Mississauga.

Mississauga is sprawl. A therapist in Streetsville is a 30-minute drive from a client in Erin Mills who works near the airport and lives near Port Credit. Most Mississauga clients we work with delayed therapy not because they doubted it would help, but because adding a 90-minute appointment plus drive plus parking to a week that already runs on coffee was not realistic.

Online sessions are 50 minutes, no driving, from wherever you can find a quiet door. The friction goes away. The work begins.

Why Mississauga

An Ontario practice that knows Peel Region.

All three clinicians at Anchor & Bloom are registered to practise psychotherapy in Ontario. We understand the Peel context: long Trillium Health Partners wait times, the OHIP gap that leaves private psychotherapy uncovered, the second-generation Canadian experience of trying to honour family expectations while building your own life, and the particular burnout of GTA commuter careers.

We are not a directory or a rotating platform. We are a small practice, working slowly, with people who want to do the real work.

Crisis support

If you need help right now.

Anchor & Bloom is not a crisis service. If you are in crisis in Mississauga or Peel Region, the following are available:

  • Talk Suicide Canada: 1-833-456-4566 (24/7), text 45645 (4 pm to midnight ET)
  • Suicide Crisis Helpline: call or text 988
  • Peel Crisis Capacity Network (Mobile Crisis Team): 905-278-9036
  • Trillium Health Partners. Mississauga Hospital ER: 100 Queensway West
  • If you are in immediate danger, call 911

Common questions about online therapy in Mississauga.

How do I find a therapist in Mississauga?

Start by checking registration: psychotherapist is a protected title in Ontario, so anyone offering psychotherapy in Mississauga under that title must be registered with the CRPO, and the public register is searchable. All three Anchor & Bloom clinicians are CRPO-registered and work with Mississauga clients in person at the Century Avenue office and online. A free 15-minute consultation is a low-stakes way to check fit before booking.

Do you have a Mississauga office I can visit?

Yes, by appointment. Anchor & Bloom offers online therapy across Mississauga and in-person sessions from the Mississauga office when clinically appropriate and available.

My family speaks more than one language. Does that matter?

Katelyn and Daniella offer therapy in English. Julia offers therapy in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. If you need another language, say so during your inquiry and the practice can help identify an appropriate directory or referral option.

I commute to downtown Toronto. How does online therapy fit?

Many of our Mississauga clients take sessions before work, on a lunch break, or after they get home. There is no commute to the therapist, so you reclaim the time you would have spent driving to a Streetsville or Port Credit office.

How does online therapy work practically?

You receive a secure Jane link before each session, click it, and meet your therapist over video. Phone audio works if your internet is unreliable. Sessions are usually 50 minutes for individuals. Couples sessions are 50 or 80 minutes.

Do you bill insurance directly for Mississauga clients?

Insurance receipts are provided through Jane for reimbursement. Direct billing is available only when the clinician, insurer, and Jane workflow support it. Most Canadian plans cover RP services. Confirm with your insurer before booking.
