Therapy for adults and couples in Oakville and across Halton Region. Online over secure video, or in person at our Mississauga office by appointment. The approach is discussed with each client based on their goals, needs, and fit.
Nine clinicians work with Oakville clients: Katelyn Matias, a Registered Psychotherapist, CRPO #10340, and Daniella Simas Medeiros, Mahima Chauhan, Rashin Heydari-Alamdari, Shima Tavasoli, Kristen Lawrynowycz, Megan Harvey, Natalie Besharat and Julia Malynka, all Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying) with the CRPO. Sessions run in English, Gujarati, Hindi, Farsi, Urdu, Russian and Ukrainian depending on the clinician.
How it works
Most Oakville clients we work with were already living busy lives before they reached out. Commutes to Toronto on the QEW, kids in Bronte schools, evening obligations near Kerr Village or Glen Abbey, weekends along the waterfront. For some people, travel and scheduling are practical barriers to starting therapy.
Online sessions remove the friction. There is no drive to a downtown office, no parking near Lakeshore, no rushing back to work. You meet with a CRPO-registered clinician over secure video, from your kitchen table or your car parked in the lot at Bronte Outer Harbour, and the 50 minutes belong to you.

From Oakville
Oakville is the one city outside Mississauga where in-person is a realistic default rather than an occasional trip. From Glen Abbey, River Oaks, Bronte or Kerr Village the office at 6700 Century Ave is about 15 to 20 minutes via the 403, which is closer than most of Oakville is to downtown Toronto. Many Oakville clients alternate: in person when the week allows, online from home when it does not.

The clinicians at Anchor & Bloom are registered to practise psychotherapy in Ontario. We understand practical concerns that can shape access to care in Halton Region, including commuting, caregiving, private psychotherapy outside OHIP, and finding time for appointments.
Online sessions are with the same clinician in your own space. Whether virtual or in-person therapy is the better fit depends on your needs, privacy, safety, and preferences.

Coverage varies by plan and clinician, so confirm directly with your insurer before booking. Insurance receipts are provided through Jane, and direct billing is available only when the clinician, insurer, and Jane workflow support it. Psychotherapy is HST-exempt in Canada.
