Her approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and shaped around the person in front of her. Therapy can include both practical coping tools and space to understand the patterns beneath what has been difficult.

In session
Shima works collaboratively with each client rather than using one fixed formula. She draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, person-centred therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy according to the client's needs and goals.
Sessions may focus on understanding recurring patterns, building coping skills, making sense of emotions, or finding a manageable way forward when life feels overwhelming or stuck.
