Couples sessions at Anchor & Bloom are $200 for 50 minutes or $290 for 80 minutes, in person in Mississauga by appointment or online across Ontario. Whether a plan reimburses that session depends on the booklet, not on the clinic.
Jane receipts include the clinician name, registration details where applicable, the service description, the date, and the amount. They do not include clinical content.
Direct billing is available only when the clinician, insurer, and plan support it.Katelyn can submit many TELUS eClaims plans. Sun Life is not on eClaims. If direct billing is not available, pay through Jane and submit the receipt.
Sometimes. Many extended health plans cover Registered Psychotherapist services. Some plans pay only for individual therapy, or they require an individual session type on the receipt. Confirm the exact wording with your insurer before you assume a couples session will be reimbursed.
Some insurers allow each partner to claim against their own plan. Others do not. Treat this as a question to ask each insurer, not as an entitlement. We do not advise anyone to submit a claim that their plan forbids.
Yes. Psychotherapy provided by a regulated practitioner, including couple psychotherapy, is GST/HST-exempt in Canada as of June 20, 2024. Anchor & Bloom does not charge HST on couples sessions.
